Plus Size Wedding Dresses

At Aurora Bride, we want brides of different shapes and sizes to have a brilliant choice of wedding dresses to actually try on.

We specialise in bridal sample sizes 16–24, with over 40 wedding dresses in a UK size 16 and above available in store. Our collection includes a wide mix of silhouettes, fabrics and styles, so choosing a larger sample size doesn’t mean choosing from just a handful of dresses.

Many of our gowns can also be ordered in sizes above a UK 24, with around 90% of our plus size collection available to order up to a UK size 36. However, our in-store sample collection is primarily focused on UK sizes 16–24, so we always want to be clear about what you can expect to try during your appointment.

We choose our collection with different body shapes in mind. You’ll find sleek and simple gowns, fitted shapes, romantic lace, A-lines, ballgowns and dresses with different levels of structure and support.

VIEWING THE COLLECTION

You can see which gowns we currently have available to try in larger sample sizes by visiting our Wedding Dress Gallery and using the size filter. Select sizes 16–24 to browse dresses with samples available in store within that size range.

And don’t be put off if you don’t see lots of plus size model photography. Not all of our designers provide curve imagery for every dress. This means we often have more gowns available to try in sizes 16–24 than you might think from looking at the photographs alone.

Bridal sizing can also differ from high-street sizing and varies between designers. You don’t need to find a sample in your exact dress size for every gown you want to try. Our stylists can use clipping and pinning to help you get a much better idea of the fit and shape.
